Sunday Blessings

04 November 2012

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

— Philippians 4:6-7

NaNoWriMo has been keeping me on my toes as of late, and sometimes I feel tempted to grow anxious or frustrated over my inability to complete everything and still have time to write each day. I have been trying to fix my mind not on my own struggles but on Paul's words in Philippians about not being anxious over anything. May we all open our hearts and minds to the peace of God, "which transcends all understanding" this week and in the weeks that come. To those who are all doing NaNo, my prayers are with you. Lord willing, we will reign triumphant at the end of this month!

Blessings on your Lord's Day, ladies!

Hello! :) I have seen your blog before, and think I'll follow it now. :)
I visited back when you had just published your first story - Violets are Blue. I've read excerpts from it too, and believe it is a beautiful book. I love the first few paragraphs - its a simple scene about a trivial circumstance in a young girl's life, and yet the characters are so clear from the very first - especially the main Character's voice - and how you introduced where they lived etc all into that one scene.
    Very well done!
I would love to read the whole story in the near future. :)
I think it is a beautiful thing when Christians write for the Lord Jesus - especially Christian young ladies!
I guess you can tell by now that I write - and love it. I write for the Lord Jesus and my stories are all - so far - historically set.
    The Lord Jesus bless you!
P.S. I would love to talk about your experience with publishing.
