Privacy Matters To Me

02 February 2011

I have decided to make my photography blog private. At least for the next few months.

Here's why: I'd like to have a little more liberty with my photos, but I'd like to guard my privacy at the same time. I don't want The Light Through the Window to be open to just anyone who happens upon it--I'd like to choose who reads it. The very nature of photos can violate a person's privacy very easily. And the Internet's a scary place. It really is. You wouldn't believe how many creepy people can just happen upon your blog and learn much more about you than you want.

So, that's why I'm making TLTTW private. I hope you understand.

P.S. Don't fret! If you're interested in viewing my photography blog, email me and I'll most likely send you an invite. :)

3 epistles:

  1. I made my blog private for the same reason--that anyone can see it and I don't want the whole internet reading my blog. That, and I got some followers I didn't want. :)

Thank you for sending me an invite!!! :) Oh, and by the way, I'm going to try to comment more on here--before I wasn't able to click on the comment section, but just now I could. :)

    Love you!

  2. That's exactly why I made it private. I enjoy being able to control who reads my blog and who doesn't.

Ooh, I'm so glad! I've missed your comments. :(

    Love you!

    Elizabeth Rose

  3. You can do the Life is Sweet post whenever, it's just one chance per week! :)

I love the Scarlet Pimpernel too!! Marguerite was an amazing heroine! ;)

p.s. my craving for dancing on MDG's grave is because I don't have to bother with it anymore. I know, I'm quite the nutcase! :)
