Lovely Photo Wednesday :: Just Because It's Fall...

06 October 2010

I love this photo, because of it's very fall-ish feeling. The leaf is perfectly placed on the damp sidewalk (I didn't do that--I just found the leaf this way), and the ruby tips of the leaf just add to the all-around beautiful affect. *sigh* This makes me love fall all the more. (Of course, I took this photo during our vacation in California, but you won't tell anyone, right? :)

6 epistles:

  1. That is definitely a very pretty picture. I love the red :) It goes so nicely with the brown (bricks?) Did it previously rain when you took the picture? Or are those bricks just dark looking :P

  2. Definitely a lovely picture! :)

  3. This picture is wonderful, beautiful, soft, elegant, and stunning, Elizabeth Rose! :D

Oh, and about your comment on my blog. I agree! I mean, some guys are naturally weak, so I'm not trying to pressure them into becoming macho-men. But, ya know, guys that act all girlish are, to me, not worth my time. Why can't there be more men like Mr. Darcey?! And why do girls feel they have to fall for the weak girly-men? I don't know. But I wish the could realize that there is so much more to a guy than just appearances and behavior.

Yeah, it would be nice to have a 'more' sensitive guy (not to the point where he makes me want to puke...ya know?), but where's the strong protector we read about in the Bible? Where has this knight disappeared to?

    Em :D

  4. I am in love with your blog! It has such a beautiful design, and as always... the inside is even more beautiful!

    I'm following you now...
    All my love,
