Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

It's Monday! And that means that it's time for a full load of the miscellany. Click on the button to join in with lovely Carissa of lowercase letters. This is the first time I have done this, but it always looks so fun, so... I'm giving it a try!

{1} I am a procrastinator. I have high aspirations to do so-and-so and then... well, let's just say it takes a whole lot longer to get done than it should. :) I need to pray and ask the Lord to help me curb this problem, because it is certainly not helping me, but rather, holding me back.

{2} I don't have a camera. *hold for a simultaneous "eep!"* It's the truth. I turned my camera on one day last fall and, well, the screen was broken. It wouldn't work. :( I am saving up to get a new camera, but until then, I use my mom's.

{3} Weird things make me cry. Really, I mean it. Sometimes I will tear up when I am completely happy. You can scoff all you want at such thing as "tears of joy," but it's true. I've experienced it.

{4} My birthday was the BEST birthday ever, because of all of your sweet comments. *wipes a tear of joy*

{5} My blog is getting a makeover! And a new name! The lovely Nana of The Boutique Window is doing my makeover. If you like it, it's all thanks to her. *applause* And as for the name, my poll has indicated that the new title is to be Living on Literary Lane. Thoughts, anyone? You still have one day to vote, so if you absolutely hate that title, you can choose another. :)

4 epistles:

  1. Lovely, Lizzy! B the way, I definitely want you to use "Living on Literary Lane". I can't wait to see what your blog looks like when Nana is done!!!

    God bless,
    ~Gianna

P.S. I will "join in the fun" - I am going to do Miscellany Monday for the first time in my blogging life!

  2. Wonderful post! You have such a beautiful blog!

It always takes me way longer to get things done, as well. I need some kind of deadline/ pressure to actually sit down and get things done ;) I think it is quite normal.

    Have a wonderful day,
    Kate

  4. Hi, nice post. I just found your blog! It's very pretty and I love the background music...
You're not the only one... I am a procrastinator too. And a bit of a perfectionist. It doesn't mix so well, because I spend a long time on almost everything I do!

    God bless
    Jessica
